Merinos, a Turkish carpet manufacturer, is set to open 250 carpet and furniture stores in the United States and Europe in the next five years, according to a top executive.
Mahmut Erdemlioğlu, an executive board member of Merinos, told Anatolia news agency on Monday that their exports to 65 countries including the U.S., Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Russia reached $130 million in 2010.
